I didn't learn business in a classroom.
I learned it in the family office.
Before Nike, before the corporate titles, I was the kid doing the books.
I grew up working inside my family's real estate and construction companies — not as a summer job, but as part of how the business ran. I learned early that entrepreneurship isn't a personality type. It's a set of systems, decisions, and habits that either hold a business together or let it fall apart.
That foundation shaped everything that came after.
Nike
I spent 12 years at Nike in operations — as Chief of Staff, Portfolio Manager, Senior Program Manager, and Business Operations Analyst. I managed multi-million dollar strategic initiatives, coordinated global teams, and built the infrastructure behind programs most people never see but every customer benefits from.
What I learned: the difference between a business that scales and one that stalls is almost never about vision. It's about whether the operating system underneath can carry the weight.
The Pivot
In 2024, Nike laid me off.
I won't pretend it wasn't a gut punch. It was. But it was also the clearest possible signal that it was time to build something of my own — on my terms, with everything I'd spent 12 years learning.
Within months I had launched a consulting practice, co-founded a wellness business, and started building a brand in public. The infrastructure I'd been building for other people's companies? I finally got to build it for mine.
I'm based in Portland, Oregon. I work with founders locally and nationwide.
How I Work
I don't do engagements that drag. I don't hand you a 40-page document and disappear. I diagnose fast, build practical systems, and make sure they actually stick before I step back.
My clients are solo founders and small business owners — people who are great at what they do but whose operations can't keep up with their growth. That gap is solvable. It's the only kind of problem I'm interested in.
